Terms of Service

1. Service Provider Identity

Services are provided by Andréa Royer, registered as autónoma in Spain, NIE Y3661793T, with professional address at 9 Carrer Aurora, attic, 08001 Barcelona, Spain. Email: [email protected].

2. Service Description

Gos'ando Barcelona offers the following professional pet care services:

• Dog walking (short and long/nature walks)
• Dog transport via eco-friendly cargo bicycle (Taxi Dog)
• Home visits for feeding, companionship, and care
• Tourist service (dog care while you explore Barcelona)
• Personalized walks for dogs with special needs
• Dog sitting at your home

3. Booking & Contract Formation

A booking request submitted through our website or other channels constitutes a binding agreement once confirmed by Andréa. Confirmation will be sent via your preferred contact method within 24 hours. The contract is formed between the client and Andréa Royer as an individual professional (autónoma).

4. Provider Obligations

Andréa commits to the following obligations during each service:

• Ensuring safe walking conditions and environments for your dog
• Monitoring your dog's wellbeing throughout the service
• Picking up and properly disposing of dog waste
• Promptly reporting any incidents, health concerns, or behavioral issues observed during the service
• Maintaining clear communication with the client before, during, and after the service

5. Client Obligations

As a client, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring your dog is vaccinated, microchipped, and in good health at the time of each service
• Informing Andréa of any allergies, medical conditions, behavioral issues, or special needs your dog may have
• Providing a suitable leash and harness for your dog
• Holding valid dog liability insurance as required by Spanish Law 7/2023 on the protection, rights, and welfare of animals
• Providing accurate and truthful information about your dog

6. Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 24 hours before service: Full refund or credit
• Between 12 and 24 hours before service: 50% credit for a future booking
• Less than 12 hours before service: No refund; 20% credit for a future booking

Credits are valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

7. Last-Minute Booking Surcharge

Bookings made less than 24 hours before the requested service time are subject to a 10% surcharge on the standard price. This surcharge reflects the additional scheduling adjustments required for last-minute requests.

8. Pricing

All prices displayed on the website and communicated during booking include VAT (IVA) where applicable. Prices may be updated periodically. The price confirmed at the time of booking is the price that applies to that service.

9. Liability

Andréa exercises due care and professionalism in all services. However:

• Andréa is not liable for unforeseeable incidents that occur without negligence on her part
• The client must hold valid dog liability insurance as required by Spanish Law 7/2023. It is the client's responsibility to ensure coverage is active
• The client certifies that the dog is healthy, vaccinated, and dewormed at the time of each service
• Andréa is not liable for pre-existing health conditions or behavioral issues that were not disclosed by the client

10. Health Declaration

By booking a service, the client certifies that their dog is currently healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and properly dewormed. Any known medical conditions, allergies, or ongoing treatments must be disclosed at the time of booking. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in service refusal or limitation of liability.

11. Cargo Bike Transport

For services involving transport by cargo bicycle (Taxi Dog):

• The client must provide express written authorization for their dog to be transported by cargo bike
• Dogs must be appropriately secured during transport. Andréa provides safety equipment and ensures proper restraint
• Transport may be cancelled or rescheduled in case of adverse weather conditions, for the safety of the dog
• The cargo bike has weight and size limitations. Suitability will be assessed during the initial meet & greet

12. Data Protection

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.

14. Force Majeure

Andréa shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond her reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or any other event of force majeure. In such cases, the service will be rescheduled at no additional cost or a full credit will be issued.
